Use
In category sets the behavior and the categories available for commenting are defined. A standard category set can be defined for each institution, which is used if no category set is assigned to a treatment pathway.
In Pathways categories can be assigned to each activity. When the activity is executed, for example Confirm Step, a classification is made using the category. In evaluations the category is an evaluation criterion.
The entry of the category and the note text can be controlled for each activity. Input can be not available, optional, or always necessary.
The subsequent processing of comments for activities can be prevented.

Standard settings
No category set is created.
No categories are entered.
The category can be entered optionally.
The note text can be entered optionally.
The subsequent entry of a comment for an activity is possible.
Activities
In the customizing for an activity, you proceed as follows:
- Toggle to change mode.
- Create a category set by selecting Create in the top left navigation or selecting a category set by clicking on the hotspot.
- In the lower left navigation area of the editing tool you select the desired activity by double-clicking.
- Assign the categories using the first pushbutton.
- To preset a category in the activity, set the Default indicator.
To override the strict input behavior (note text is necessary), set the Self-Explanatory indicator.
You determine the sequence in the selection list when an activity is executed using the Sort Order. The display is sorted in ascending order. - Enter the input behavior for the category and the note text, if it differ from the standard behavior.
- To prevent the subsequent entry of comments, set the No Subsequent Entry indicator.
