Use

In this IMG activity you can configure order types for clinical orders so that these can be used for transferring order data to third party systems (external).

For this outbound communication of clinical order data there are several possible communication channels available:

  • HTTP
  • RFC
  • Web services
  • Local storage

Depending on the selected communication partner, you can also provide one or more of the following actions:

  • Create
  • Read
  • Update
  • Delete

You activate the communication of order data by integrating the Connectivity application component in the clinical order type as well as with subsequent customizing of this component and the available methods.

Requirements

You must have configured and registered the communication channels before you can use these in customizing.

Standard settings

Activities

Integrate the Connectivity component in the order type and branch to the dialog for customizing this application component by selecting the tool icon.

If necessary, assign actions for Connectivity (create etc.) to the previously created order fillers and select the desired communication channels (handlers) from the list of possible handlers. Enter any additionally required data.

You can also activate logging for this configuration.
