Use
Assignment of external document categories to internal document categories
Every time a document is received, you must be able to ascertain the document category to be used to create it.
If this specification has not been filled out by the sender, you cannot assign a target document category to the document category of the sender in your system.
Enter the sender ID and the document category ID of the sender and assign the institution and the document category that is to be used.
Note: The configuration entry is only evaluated if the sender system of your system does not preset the target document category.
Release on Receipt
You can define that the system releases a document immediately on receiving it. The system only evaluates this specification if the document type permits a direct change from creation status to release status. The reference is only created at the moment using the document category specification that the sending system uses for its documents.
Note: You can also control the release procedure using a BAdI. The BAdI for document modification (incoming and outgoing) (BAdI name: ISHMED_DOC_TRANSFER) has the method CHANGE_RECEIVED_STRUCTURED, which you can use to influence the release procedure for received documents.
