Use
Document communication provides a web service for receiving communication confirmations. After your system has sent a document to a partner system, the partner system confirms the receipt of the document by calling this web service.
You only have to release this web service if the partner system cannot immediately return status information on receipt of a document and therefore sends an asynchronous status report at a later time.
First you have to release the web service so that other systems can reach it:
- Create a release entry for the web service definition N2MEDDOC_RECEIVE_REPLY, variant n2meddoc_receive_reply. To do this, execute the customizing step, select 'Create' and save the release entry.
- You can use the ICF Details pushbutton to make further settings for the web service.
- After you have released the web service you can export a service definition in WSDL format (transaction WSADMIN) and transfer it to your communication partner.
