Use

Communication settings must be stored for each communication partner. These settings are stored in the system in logical port form.

Ask your addressee for the address of the web service which receives these documents. Perform this activity, assign a name and select Create. On the "Calling Parameters" tab page enter the address of the web service, check the further settings and select Save.

Normally a user ID is required so that your system may call the web services of your partner. To configure the user settings select Goto -> WS Security. You branch to the "WS Security: Edit Profiles" dialog box. Assign a name for your new logon profile and select Create. Use the template "SET_USERNAME" (Set User Name). Enter the user name and password for the web service and select Save to save the logon profile. Select Back twice until you arrive back in the settings of your logical port.

Toggle to the "Application-Specific Settings" at the lower end of the screen on the "Operations" tab page. Enter the name of your logon profile in the "Profile Out" field, to assign the logon profile to the logical port. You then save the settings.

Note: If a communication platform such as XI is the direct communication partner of i.s.h.med, you must refer to a web service of this communication platform. In this case the same logical port can be used for several addressees because all documents are first sent to the communication partner.

You should note: The interface of the called web service must match the interface of the web service N2MEDDOC_RECEIVE.
