Use

In this IMG activity, you adjust how individual messages are output to meet with your requirements. You decide to what extent the settings are valid:

  • If the settings are to be valid for the entire client, leave the field for the user name empty.
  • If the settings are valid for a specific user, enter the name of this user in the user name field.
  • If necessary, you can make different settings for online operations and batch processing.

Example

When you implement an external account statement, the system may be able to use both the note to payee and the external account number for the account determination. If this is the case, message 380 appears. You can influence the system response by selecting, for example, message type E (error) for this message. This has the effect that the system terminates the processing of the account statement concerned.
