Use
In this Customizing activity, you maintain the attributes to be used for Risk Management workflow automation. For each workflow to be triggered, you must provide the corresponding workflow data.
Each workflow template used should be customized using a separate response automation type.
In a first step, you map the automation type to a workflow task number taken from the system to which you are connecting (therefore no value help is available, you must use copy/paste). Next, you must specify the system itself as a logical system in the corresponding field.
In the detail sections of this Customizing activity you do the following:
- You specify the names and types of business objects taken from the names and types (from the system to which you connect) of the business objects involved in the workflow template.
- Then you specify the agents for your workflow (types and names).
Requirements
- The Customizing activity Maintain Response Automation Types must be maintained.
- The workflow container elements from the remote system must be known.
Standard settings
Activities
- Choose New Entries and select an automation type from the dropdown options of the first column.
- Enter the workflow task number to be used with this automation type.
- Select a logical system from the dropdown options of the last column.
- Save the entry.
- In the second step, put the cursor on the line of an automation type and click the Response Automation - Workflow Container Elements section to the left. A workflow container element is an object that participates in a workflow, or for which a workflow is triggered.
- Again choose New Entries to enter a user-defined workflow container element and an object type. This refers to the business objects (object type name and technical name) from the remote system that are used to trigger the workflow.
- In the third step, put the cursor on the line of an automation type and click the Response Automation - Workflow Agents section to the left.
- Choose New Entries to select an agent type and an agent ID. This refers to the list of agents (object type and technical name) that are used to trigger the workflow. Object types can be users, positions, roles, etc.
- Save the entry.
