Use

In this Customizing activity, you define the dimensions used for contexts in GRC.

Contexts in Risk Management enable you to store data from other networked applications, such as those in the SAP Business Suite. This data is then used to carry out assessments in Risk Management.

Requirements

Using transaction SM59, you must define the RFC connections to the systems that provide the context.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Click New Entries and enter a user-defined ID for the dimension you are defining.
  2. Select a Dimension Type from the dropdown options of the second column.
  3. Enter the name of the logical system to be used.
  4. The following steps apply only to dimensions that use Web Services:
    1. Select the RFC destination from the dropdown options of the corresponding column.
    2. Enter the name of the logical port to be used.
  5. Make an entry in the Parameterization column. Note: This step is optional. It is only used to enter the ID of the dimension type "Characteristic".
  6. Save your entry.
