Use

In this Customizing activity, you can define the loss criteria as required by the Basel II accord. Specifically, Basel II requires you to define the following classifications for assigning loss data:

  • Centralized function
  • Activities that span more than one business line
  • Related events over time
  • Other

Requirements

Standard settings

Activities

To find a loss criteria entry:

  1. Choose the Position pushbutton. A dialog appears allowing you to specify the loss criteria identifier.
  2. In the Loss Criteria ID field, type or select the corresponding identifier, and choose the Enter pushbutton. The loss criteria entry appears as the first entry in the table.

To define new loss criteria:

  1. Choose the New Entries pushbutton. The New Entries screen appears.
  2. In the Loss Crit. column, type or select the loss criteria identifier.
  3. In the Loss Criteria column, type the loss criteria value.
  4. Choose the Save pushbutton.

To delete loss criteria entries:

  1. Select one or more loss criteria entries in the table.
  2. Choose the Delete pushbutton. The selected loss criteria entries are deleted.
  3. Choose the Save pushbutton.
