Use

In this Customizing activity, you can maintain the attributes for large loss events according to the 2011 ORX standards. You can maintain the attribute code, description, and parent-child relationship for the following categories of large loss events:

  • Alleged Causes
  • Jurisdictions/Choices of Law
  • Counterparties/Claimant Types
  • Roles of the Firm
  • Environmental Volatilities

For example, if you want to maintain the attributes for cause type A, and its child causes B and C, you can enter the following information in the ORX - Alleged Causes dialog:

CS    Parent    Alleged Cause Description

CS100        Cause A

CS101    CS100    Cause B

CS102    CS100    Cause C

Requirements

SAP delivers a list of pre-configured fields for each category in accordance with the 2011 ORX standards.

Standard settings

Activities

To maintain the attributes for a large loss event type:

  1. Go to the relevant loss event type dialog by double clicking the dialog structure node.
  2. Choose New Entries.
  3. Enter the attribute code, parent attribute code, and attribute description in the respective fields. Leave the Parent field empty for parent attributes.
  4. Save your entry.
