Use
In this Customizing activity, you maintain driver categories for risks and opportunities in the following:
- Risk and opportunity classification
- Risk and opportunity management
The driver refers to the root cause of a risk or opportunity. After defining them in Customizing, you assign driver categories and drivers to risks and opportunities in the Risk Management application, as well as adding loss drivers to incidents submitted in the application.
Requirements
Standard settings
Activities
- Choose New Entries.
- Specify the following:
- ID - A unique driver category ID, such as FI0001 for revenue loss
- Category - A name for the driver category
- Description - A description of the driver category
- Save your entry.
Example
Some sample drivers are external conditions driving the risk, such as market risks or governmental regulations, as well as people-related drivers, such as a high turnover of personnel.
