Use

In this Customizing activity, you can enable or disable the setting that allows users to add locally-defined controls for subprocesses that are assigned as Allow Local Changes.

Requirements

Standard settings

Activities

The default behavior is Allow addition of locally-defined control, that is, the Add_Local_Defined_CN checkbox is selected. This also means that if no configuration entry is displayed the default behavior is enabled.

If a configuration entry is displayed and you want to enable Allow to Add Locally-defined, then do the following:

  1. Choose Edit.
  2. Select Add_Local_Defined_CN and select the Activated checkbox.
  3. Save your entry.

To not allow users to add locally defined controls:

  • If a configuration entry is displayed, then deselect the Activated checkbox, and then save the entry.
  • If no configuration entries are displayed, activate the BC-Set GRFN-ALLOW-CREATE-LOCAL-CTRL, and then do the following:

  1. Choose Edit.
  2. Select Add_Local_Defined_CN and deselect the Activated checkbox.
  3. Save your entry.
