Use

In this Customizing activity, you transport rule scripts and their dependent entries (children), such as rule criteria assignment, from the development or testing system to the production system. Do not create new rule scripts directly in the production system.

You create or edit scripts in the application of the development system and then test them in your quality system. Those entries from the application are then filled in the Process Control tables of this Customizing activity. You can transport these newly added entries to the destination system by creating a transport request and assigning these values to it.

You can maintain the script’s connectors through the application of the production system after transport, if necessary.

Requirements

Complete the Customizing activity Prepare the Rule Script and Rule for Transport.

  6. Select the rule script object(s) that you want to transport. Then click the Include in Request button.
