Use

In this Customizing activity, you transport rule definitions and their dependent entries (children), such as the assigned rule criteria and their analysis, from the development or testing system to the production system. Do not create new rules directly in the production system.

You can create or edit rules through the Portal of the development system. These entries are then populated in the Process Control tables you see in this activity. You can transport these newly added entries to the destination system by creating a transport and assigning these values to that transport.

You can maintain the rules (such as changing the connector or its status) through the Portal of the production system after transport.

Requirements

Complete the activity Prepare the Rule Script and Rule for Transport.
