Use

In this Customizing activity, you transport the Organizational Level System Parameters (OLSP), including their dependent entries (such as system parameters) such as system parameters from a development or a testing system to the production system. Do not create new OLSPs directly in the production system.

Create or edit OLSPs through the application of the development system. Those entries from the application are then populated to the Process Control tables tdisplayed in this activity. You can then transport these newly added entries to the destination system by creating a transport and assigning these values to that transport.

You can maintain the OLSPs through the Portal of the production system after transport if necessary.

Requirements

Activities

  1. Open the Transport Organization Level System Parameters activity.
  2. From the menu, choose Table View ->Transport.
  3. Create a transport request.
  4. Enter the name of your Request and a Short Description.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. Select the OLSP object(s) you want to transport. Then select Include in Request.

Note: If the OLSP objects have dependent entries, you can include them. A dialog box appears if the data object has dependent entries. If you include them, a message shows the number of dependent entries you have included for that data object. Delete from Request deletes all entries in the request.

  1. Click Save.
