Use

In this Customizing activity, you can specify the Level of Evidence value, a text, and map relevant evaluation case types to it. The case type is used for analytics and reporting. For example, if one control is of level of evidence "Tier 3: Control Design Assessment + Control Effectiveness", then it is effective only if it has passed the design assessment and effectiveness test.

To customize the levels of evidence value, you may need to add or change them.

Standard settings

Activities

To add a new Level of Evidence:

  1. Click New Entries.
  2. Enter the Attribute Value, for example 1.
  3. Enter the Text.
  4. Select Save.

To maintain the relevant evaluation case types to a specific level of evidence option:

  1. Choose the level of evidence you want to maintain.
  2. Double-click Category Config.
  3. Click New Entries.
  4. Enter the Level of Evidence Value using value help (F4).
  5. Enter the Case Type using value help (F4).
  6. Enter the Category using value help (F4).
  7. Choose Activate to activate it.
  8. Select Save.

To change a Level of Evidence:

  1. Choose the level of evidence you want to change.
  2. Select Details.
  3. Change the entities.
  4. Select Save.

To maintain the relevant evaluation case types to a specific level of evidence option:

  1. Choose the level of evidence you want to maintain.
  2. Double-click Category Coonfig.
  3. Click Delete to delete one existing entry.
  4. Click Copy to copy from one existing entry.
  5. Click New Entries to add one new entry.
  6. Select or deselect Activate to activate or deactivate it.
  7. Select Save.
