Use

In this Customizing activity, you can link the GRC application and Personal Object Work List (POWL) type to the PFCG role.

Requirements

You have already created the application objects using transaction FPB_MAINTAIN_HIER.

Note: The transaction FPB_MAINTAIN_HIER also enables you to create your own POWL applications in the Z or Y namespace. You can extend the GRC application menu with your own entries or create iViews, using the specific POWL applications.

Standard settings

SAP values are delivered and included in the table. You can see the delivered content using the transaction POWL_TYPE. If you are using the standard role types and do not wish to create or modify the delivered values, you can ignore this task.

Activities

To assign role type:

  1. Choose New Entries. The New Entries: Details of Added Entries screen appears.
  2. To associate the application (GRFN_INBOX) and the POWL type (GRFN_INBOX) with the role, where POWL is included, do the following:
    1. In the Application field, enter GRFN_INBOX.
    2. In the Role field, enter a role. For example, enter a specific role, such as SAP_GRC_FN_BASE.

Note: To allow all roles to be associated with POWL, leave the Role field blank.

  1. In the Type field, enter the POWL type. In this case, use GRFN_INBOX.
  2. In the View: Type-Role assignment pane, enter a description. For instance, enter the description, Unified Inbox.
  3. Choose Save.
