Use

In this Customizing activity, you can set the number ranges for event-based monitoring. This is done using the automatic number range objects GRPC_EVENT, GRPC_SCRRS and GRPC_EVTLG. These objects need to be initialized.

Following are the valid number range intervals:

  • GRPC_EVENT – NUMC 20
  • GRPC_EVTLG – NUMC 10
  • GRPC_SCRRS – NUMC 20

Requirements

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Click on the Set Up Number Range for Event Tables activity. The Number Range Object Maintenance screen appears.
  2. In the Object field, enter GRPC_EVENT. This is the object for event monitoring internal number range.
  3. Click the Change icon. The Number Range Object: Change screen appears.
  4. Click Number Ranges.
  5. Click Intervals. The Maintain Number Range Intervals screen appears.
  6. Enter the following values for the Intervals:
    • Number: 01
    • From number: 00000000000000000001
    • To number: 99999999999999999999
    • Current number: 1
  7. Click the Insert Interval icon.
  8. Repeat the steps for GRPC_EVTLG, GRPC_SCRRS with valid number range intervals.
