Use

In this Customizing activity, the Internal Communication Framework (ICF) service is set-up. The ICF is needed for any web-based services because this is an entry point for HTTP requests. Therefore, an ICF service is needed for all incoming events from web services. The ICF node is created with the service publication (of web services).

Activities

  1. Select the Set Up ICF for Service activity. The Maintain Service screen appears.
  2. In the Service Path field, select a path /sap/bc/srt/rfc/sap/, locate the service GRPC_EVENT_RECEIVE.
  3. Activate the service if it is currently deactivated.
  4. The web service end-point URL and WSDL URL can be obtained via the SOAManager transaction. Follow the instructions from the released web service.
