Use

In this Customizing activity, you identify the event type coming from different sources. The event type is used to find the rule which will evaluate the event.

Each event type is uniquely determined by the partner ID and event type. For each such combination, there is an event version defined in terms of the metadata (field name, type, cardinality, etc.) of the event's payload.

Activities

  1. Select the Maintain Event Type activity. The MaintenanceView for Event Type appears.
  2. Select New Entries to create the new event type.
  3. Enter the Event Type and it’s description in the Event Type Text. The Event Type must match with the relevant Rule ID.
  4. Select Save to save the entry.
  5. Select Change by selecting an existing entry to modify the event type information.
