Use

In this Customizing activity, you set up the background job to carry forward cases' documents. This is executed after the carry orward of issues has been completed. This applies to assessment, testing, issue and remediation plan cases.

This process allows the document attachments from the cases to be available when the cases are carried forward. Once the background job is scheduled, it is executed every time the background job to carry forward open issues has completed.

Standard settings

Activities

When you execute this activity, you access the Job Wizard.

  1. On the Create a job screen, click Continue.
  2. On the General Job Information screen, input the parameters:
    • Job Name: Enter exactly as specified. GRPC_DOCUMENTS_CLONING_JOB
    • Job Class: Specify a job priority; High, Middle, Low (recommended)
  3. Click Continue.
  4. On the Defining a Job Step screen, select ABAP program step. Click Continue.
  5. On the Define an ABAP Program Job Step screen, input the parameter exactly as specified:
    • ABAP program name: GRPC_DOCUMENTS_CLONING_JOB
  6. Click Continue.
  7. On the Multi-step Option screen, click Continue.
  8. On the Job definition: Start conditions scree, select After event. Click Continue.
  9. On the Def. of Start After Event screen, input the parameters:
    • Event ID: Select from the drop-down list: SAP_END_OF_JOB
    • Parameter: Enter exactly as specified: GRPC_SAP_JOB_CARRY_FORWARD
    • Periodic jobs: Select Period.
  10. Click Continue.
  11. On the Set Job screen, click Complete to close the wizard.
