Use
In this Customizing activity, you can configure Process Control to connect to one or many internal/external systems. You set up the connector by defining the target connector and source connector. If you have more than one target connector for your source connector, you must then define a default target connector.
Requirements
You must have the following activities completed:
- Configure RFC Connectors
- Configure SAPconnect
- Maintain System Type (Process Control is delivered with system types. However, if you need to enter additional ones, this activity is provided. )
Activities
- Open the Register Connectors activity.
- Click New Entries.
- Select the System Type (use the F4 value help).
- Enter the Target Connector name. The name must be the same as the RFC destination name created in the activity Configure RFC Connectors. The target connector name is maintained by the system administrator.
- Enter the Source Connector name. This is the Process Control system name.
- For multiple target connectors per source connector, define a default target connector.
- Click Save.
