Use

In this Customizing activity, you can assign roles to entities as the entity owner.

This Customizing activity is used by the reporting engine to determine the owners of reports for Risk Management, Process Control or Cross Application.

This has not effect on authorizations. The reporting engine only finds the relevant user and displays them as the owner in the Owner column of the corresponding reports.

Requirements

The Customizing activity Maintain Entity Role Assignment must be maintained.

Standard settings

SAP delivers two BC Sets with this Customizing acitivity.

For Risk Management, use BC_SET_MAINTAIN_USER_RESP.

For Process Control, use GRPC-RESP-USER-GLOBAL.

For Cross Application scenarios, use the information in SAP Note 1544539 to maintain your settings.

Activities

  1. Choose New Entries, and then select an entity ID from the F4 Help.
  2. Select the corresponding role to be assigned from the F4 Help.
  3. From the dropdown list, choose the relevant application..
  4. Save your entry.

Example

Assign the entity Process to the process owner role, and choose the application as PC Reports. This means that in the PC reports, the user who is assigned as the process owner is displayed as the owner of the process.
