Use

In this Customizing activity, you define search terms for data source and business rule, and then assign the search terms to an entity type. The defined terms are then used to perform search functions for objects.

Activities

  • Creating Search Terms

  1. Select Search Term from the dialog structure. The Search Term maintenance view appears.
  2. Choose the New Entries pushbutton to create the new search term.
  3. Enter the Search Term ID and Search Term. Input the Search Term ID in the customer namespace.
  4. Save the entry.

  • Assigning Search Terms to Entities

  1. Select Enable Search Term from the dialog structure. The Enable Search Term maintenance view appears.
  2. Select the entity to which you want to assign search terms.
  3. Double-click Search Term Assignment.
  4. Choose the New Entries pushbutton to create the new assignment.
  5. Choose the search term ID you want to assign.
  6. Save the entry.
