Use

In this Customizing activity, you define connection types, which are then used while connecting to other systems.

Requirements

Standard settings

Activities

To maintain the connectors and connection types:

  1. Choose the New Entries pushbutton and specify the connection type (user-defined).
  2. Select the Define Connectors section and then select the connector for which you want to enter details for.
  3. Save your entry; this temporarily saves the data.
  4. To define a new target connector, select the Define Subsequent Connectors section and then choose the New Entries pushbutton.
  5. Select a target connector line and select the Define Connector Groups section.
  6. Select a connector group from the list and select the Assign Connector Groups to Group Types section.
  7. Choose the New Entries pushbutton to assign a connector group type.
  8. Repeat Steps 1-7 for the second section,Assign Connectors to Connector Groups.
  9. Save your entry.
