Use

This Customizing activity establishes the audit transfer relationship between GRC Internal Audit Management and NetWeaver Audit Management. For transfers to occur, the Audit Type of Question and the Hierarchy Profile of Subprocess Control must match between the two systems.

  • Audit Type - The audit type describes the audit usage, the audit categories, and the audit object that is to be audited. Examples of audit types are: Internal process audits in the development area, external vendor product audits, and internal QM System audits.
  • Hierarchy Profile - The hierarchy profile defines the possible hierarchy levels beneath the question list header and their order. The definition of the hierarchy profile and its hierarchy levels is configured through the Customizing activities.

Requirements

In the SAP Customizing Implementation Guide, access the Cross-Application Components. Select the Audit Management node, Question List, and select the Structure of List of Questions.

Note what numbers are assigned to the Audit Type of Question and the Hierarchy Profile of Subprocess - Control.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Select the CustomizIng activity (Transaction SM30, table GRFN_AUDDEFLT).
  2. Select New Entries.
  3. Select the Audit Type and select the appropriate number. You need to etablish the Audit Type of Question that matches the AMT configuration. For example, if the Audit Management configuration uses 50 for Questions, this Audit Type must also be designated as 50.
  4. Select the Hierarchy Profile and select the appropriate number. You need to establish the Hierarchy Profile of Subprocess - Control to match the AMT configuration. For example, if the Audit Management configuration uses 90 for Subprocess - Control, this Hierarchy Profile must also be designated as 90.
  5. Save your entry.
