Use

In this Customizing Activity, you can optimize the My Process side panel for a single role or for all roles under an entity type by specifying a side panel configuration.

Requirements

You have created a side panel configuration in the My Process POWL in customizing mode.

Standard settings

Activities

To add a side panel configuration:

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. In the Component field, select the component name you want to configure.
  3. In the Entity ID field, select the entity name from the dropdown list.
  4. In the Role field, select the role you want to configure the side panel for.

    NOTE: You can also use the asterisk (*) as a wildcard to assign a configuration for all roles under the entity. However, this type of configuration has a lower priority than a configuration for a specific role (without wildcard characters), meaning that if another configuration is set for a specific role under this entity, the wild card configuration will be overwritten.
  5. In the Configuration Name field, enter the configuration name you have created in My Process.
  6. Choose Save.
