Use

In this Customizing activity, you can define the user and role assignment levels of each regulation role in Process Control. You can assign the roles for the corporate, organization, process, subprocess or control entities. The settings maintained in this activity define the roles that are assigned to the users' compliance initiative-specific work sets.

Requirements

You have ensured the following:

  • The individual roles have been created and maintained using Transaction PFCG.
  • Regulations and policies arevmaintained in the Customizing activity Configure Compliances Initiatives.

Standard settings

SAP delivers the referenced settings for the regulation role assignment level through a BC set. You can activate the BC sets and then maintain them using your personal settings.

Activities

To maintain regulation role assignments:

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. In the Entity ID column, select an entity to be assigned to a role from the dropdown list..
  3. In the Role column, select the role to be assigned to this entity from the dropdown list.
  4. In the Regulation Configuration column, select the regulation/policy for the role from the dropdown list.
  5. In the Unique column, If you want restrict the user assignment to the role to a single user, select the checkbox. For example, here you can specify that there is only one control owner user assignment for controls.
  6. Save your entry.
