Use

In this Customizing activity, you restore the default connector of the selected rule scripts and rules, as well as the status of the rules.

This is the last step of transporting automated control data to the downstream systems. This step ensures the selected rules and rule scripts can be used again in the current system after the transport activity.

Requirements

You must have completed the following activities:

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Select the Reset the Rule Script and Rule after Transport activity (transaction code: GRPC_AC_POSTINSTALL_CONN).
  2. Select Script/Rule to restore the Script/Rule connectors and Rule Status. Click the Run button.
  3. Enter filter values and click the Run button.
  4. Available Scripts/Rules are retrieved from either the GRPCSCRIPT_TEMP or GRPCRULE_TEMP tables.
  5. Highlight the records to be restored and click Restore Connector for scripts or Restore Connector and Rule Status for rules.
  6. Confirm the message.
  7. Click Yes to restore Rule/Script connector. The records are removed from the list and deleted from the tables GRPCSCRIPT_TEMP/GRPCRULE_TEMP.
  8. Check Script/Rule UI. Verify the Connector/Rule Status is restored to its original value.

Example

  1. Click the Script button and the Run button to restore the Script connector.
  2. Enter Filter Values.
  3. The available scripts that can be restored are listed. Highlight records to be restored and click the Restore Connector button.
  4. Confirm the restore Script Connector.
  5. Highlight records deleted from the list and the records deleted from the temporary tables GRPCSCRIPT_TEMP/GRPCSCRIPT_RULE.
