Use

In this Customizing activity, you can schedule the background job to send the Policy Revision Notification. The application sends the notification to policy owners on the required time and date to remind them to carry out the tasks for the revision of policies.

Requirements

The user who receives the notification must have their e-mail address maintained in their user profile.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Enter a name in the Job Name field and choose Start Condition pushbutton. The Start Time screen appears.
  2. Choose Date/Time.
  3. In the Schedule Start fields, enter a start date and start time.
  4. Optionally, you can also choose to enter date and time in the No Start After field. The system cancels the background job if it has not started after specified date and time.
  5. Select the Periodic Job checkbox to set the background job as recurring.
  6. Choose Period Values, select the required values, and save your entries.
  7. On the Start Time screen, save your entries.
  8. At the top of the screen, choose the Step pushbutton. The Create Step screen appears.
  9. In the User field, enter a relevant service user for your workflow system.
  10. Choose the ABAP Program pushbutton.
  11. In the Name field, enter program GRFN_POLICY_NOTIFICATION.
  12. Enter the language of the the e-mail message.
  13. Save your entries.
