Use

In this Customizing activity, the number range for controls is established to facilitate the transfer of information between GRC Internal Audit Management (IAM) and NetWeaver Audit Management. During the transfer, the number is the key prefix of the control.

You can set the number ranges for audit step handling. The settings are maintained using the automatic number range object GRFN_AMT_CNTRL.

Requirements

Standard settings

  1. Select this Customizing activity (transaction GRFN_AMT_CNTRL).
  2. Choose Change Intervals. The Maintain Intervals screen appears.
  3. Enter the desired number ranges. The number ranges are according to business need. A broad range is recommended to avoid frequent reconfiguration.
    • Number: 01 for Control
    • From number: 0000000001
    • To number: 9999999999
  4. Save your entry.
