Use
A reason code represent a task to be performed. You define reason codes to describe each task that a firefighter expects to perform. For example, a reason code might be a technical support case number. The reason code must be clear, so that the firefighter understands the task it represents.
The reason code can be used as a search criteria when using the search or filter for the Reason and Activity report or the Log report by Reason Code.
Both the administrators and firefighter user use reason codes:
- The component administrator defines reason codes in a table.
- The firefighter user selects a reason code from a dropdown menu on the dashboard.
