Use

In this Customizing activity, you can specify the system the access control application uses to authenticate users and roles. By default, the application uses the SAP PFCG system. You can choose to bypass the PFCG system and use a non-PFCG system in your environment.

Activities

This activity consists of the two main activities:

  • Selecting whether or not to use the SAP PFCG plug-in
  • If you selected to not use the SAP PFCG plug-in, you must maintain the settings for the non-PFCG plug-ins.

To maintain settings for SAP PFCG plug-ins:

  1. In the left hand navigation pane, select Activate Plugins.
  2. Choose New Entries.
  3. Select a Target Connector from the dropdown list.
  4. Save your entry.

To maintain settings for non-PFCG plug-ins:

  1. In the left hand navigation pane, select Activate Plugins.
  2. Choose New Entries.
  3. Select a Target Connector from the dropdown list.
  4. Select the Inactive GRPCI checkbox.
  5. Save your entry.
  6. From the Activate Plug-ins table, select the appropriate target connector.
  7. Double-click Activate Non-GRCPI in the legt hand navigation pane.
  8. Choose New Entries.
  9. Select an application type from the dropdown list, and then select the Active checkbox.
  10. Save the entry.
  11. From the Activate Non-GRPCI table, select an application type and double-click Activate Non-GRCPI IDs in the left hand navigation pane.
  12. Choose New Entries.
  13. In the Plug-in ID for Adaptors column, select a plug-in ID from the dropdown list.
  14. Select the Active checkbox.
  15. Save the entry.
