Use

In this Customizing activity, you can add custom fields to include in the role search criteria for access requests. You can also configure the field attributes and designate whether or not to use a field in the role search on Simplified Access Request screens.

Requirements

You have created the desired custom fields.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Choose Change -> Display to enter or exit edit mode.
  2. Choose New Entries.
  3. In the Field Name column, select a cell and choose F4 to display the list of available fields.
  4. Select a field.
  5. On the New Entries: Overview of Added Entries screen, configure the attributes as required:
    • Default Value
      Enter the initial value that you want to be displayed in the field.
    • Disable Search
      If set to No, users MAY use the field to search for roles
      If set to Yes, users may NOT use the field to search for roles
    • Mandatory
      If set to No,users may choose whether or not to include this field in their role search criteria
      If set to Yes, users MUST include this field in their role search criteria
    • Read-Only
      If set to Yes, the field is read-only; that is, users MAY NOT enter their own value
      If set to No, users MAY enter their own value
    • Display
      If set to Yes, the field is included in the initial list of search criteria displayed on the role search screen for access requests
      If set to No, the field is NOT included in the initial list
    • Enable Simplified Access Request
      If set to Yes, this field can be used for role search on the simplified access request screen
      If set to No, this field CANNOT be used for role search on the simplified access request screen
