Use

In this Customizing activity, you can maintain the request types, and then assign actions to the request types. SAP delivers several standard request types for the application, for example, New Account, Change Account, Delete Account, and so on. These standard request types represent actions that occur in the back end systems.

You can choose to change these request types or you can create your own.

Requirements

You have defined the Workflow Process Type.

Standard settings

Activities

To define the request type:

  1. Choose New Entries.
  2. Enter a description and choose a workflow process type.
  3. Choose Save.
  4. Select a request type, and then double-click Select Action.
    You can choose from the the following actions to create a customized request type:
    • Create User - Action to create a new user without user default settings
    • Change User - Action to change user detail except for user default settings
    • Delete User - Action to delete existing user
    • Lock User - Action to lock existing user
    • Unlock User - Action to unlock locked user
    • Role Assignment - Action to assign and remove roles
    • Emergency Access - Action to assign and remove emergency access IDs and roles
    • User Defaults - Action to apply user defaults to the user, during provisioning
