Use
In this IMG activity you maintain the reasons that appear in the drop-down list for Request Reasons on the Simplified Access Request screen. Requestors use these reasons to explain why they want access to a particular system or role.
Having predefined reasons can expedite the approval process by helping requestors to accurately and succinctly describe their need for access.

Activities
Choose New Entries to create reason descriptions that your company can use in the access approval process. To ensure that these codes are useful, we recommend that implementation teams carefully consider approvers' needs when creating these codes.
Choose Display/Change to make changes to existing reasons.
Example
When someone makes a request for access to a role or system, he or she must explain why they need the access; that is, they must give a reason. The codes that you create here appear as choices in a drop-down list from which the requestor can choose. If needed, there is also space for additional explanation.
A standard reason Other is always available. When users choose this reason, they must enter additional information in the field below the request reason.
