Use

In this Customizing activity, you can create and maintain role prerequisite. You use this activity to specify whether or not the application must validate if a user has completed the requirements before being granted access. For example, you can specify that the Human Resource Administrator role must be completed as a prerequisite to the Human Resource Training role.

Requirements

You have completed the tasks in the Customizing activity Define Prerequisite Types.

Standard settings

Activities

To define role prerequisites:

  1. Enter a role prerequisite name.
  2. Select a prerequisite type.
  3. Enter a course ID. This is the name or description for the training course, if applicable.
  4. Enter the prerequisite system. This is the system the application uses to validate as to whether or not the requirement is completed.
  5. Save the entry.
