Use

In this Customizing activity, you can upload the GRAC SoD rules to the AC repository. You can choose to append to, or overwrite the existing data.

SAP provides standard file templates for uploading data related to business process, functions, risk and rule set.

Requirements

You have completed the following Customizing activities:

Standard settings

Activities

  1. Select the Connector for the back-end system.
  2. Select the relevant file templates for the following:
    • Business Process
    • Function
    • Function and Business Process relationship
    • Function Action
    • Function Permissions
    • Rule Set, Risk
    • Risk Description
    • Risk and Rule Set relationship
    • Risk and Owner relationship

Note: The application leverages MS Excel to create the CSV template files. If your data is in a unicode language we recommend you either use the Import Data function for Excel, or use Notepad to open the CSV files.

  1. Select to Append or Overwrite.
  2. Choose Execute.

RESULTS

The activity updates data to the following tables:

  • Business Process
  • Rule Set
  • Functions
  • Risks
