Use

In this Customizing activity, you can synchronize the role usage data from the back-end system to the GRAC repository. Role usage data is the role related data that contain transactions executed by users.

Requirements

  • You have installed the GRCPIERP plug-in component on the back-end system.
  • You have completed the activities in the Customizing activity, Action Usage Synch.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. In the Connector field, enter the name of the back-end system.
  2. For legacy systems, select the Legacy System checkbox, and then select the connector. Legacy systems are those systems that the application cannot directly connect to. For these you must use the provided file templates to transfer the data.
Note: The application leverages MS Excel to create the CSV template files. If your data is in a unicode language we recommend you either use the Import Data function for Excel, or use Notepad to open the CSV files.
  3. Choose Execute.
