Use

In this Customizing activity, you can activate the delivered business configuration (BC) set for Access Control Multi-State Multi-Path (MSMP ) workflow configuration.

We recommend you activate the MSMP Configuration BC set as part of the initial setup. The BC set contains configuration objects, such as Initiator Rules, Routing Rules, and Agent Rules, that you can use as a template for creating your own MSMP configurations.

Note:

If you want to customize the content, we recommend you copy the delivered content, and then modify the content as needed. By copying the content you avoid the potential for your changes to be overwritten if you have need to reactivate the BC Set.

Activities

To activate the MSMP Configuration BC set do the following:

  1. In the BC Set field, enter GRC_MSMP_CONFIGURATION, and then choose the Activate pushbutton.
  2. In the dialog screen, select the Activation Mode as Expert Mode.

To use the MSMP configuration content as delivered, activate the MSMP workflows using the Customizing activity Generate MSMP Process Versions.

To use the BC set as a template, do the following:

  1. Modify the MSMP workflows as required in the Customizing activity Maintain MSMP Configuration.
  2. Activate the MSMP workflows using the Customizing activity Generate MSMP Process Versions.
