Use

In this Customizing activity, you can generate the Conflicting and Critical Risk Alerts and Control Monitor Alerts. You can also choose whether or not to enable notification.

Requirements

You have completed the activities in the Customizing activity, Action Usage Synch.

Standard settings

Activities

  1. In the System field, enter the name of the back-end system.
  2. Under the Alert Generation area, select the relevant checkboxes for the alert types:

  • For Conflicting and Critical Risk Alerts:
    1. Enter the Risk ID.
    2. Enter the Risk Level.
    3. Select the Include Mitigated Risks checkbox. This includes the mitigated risks when generating the alerts.
    4. Select the Send Notification checkbox to send the e-mail notifications to the risk owners when alerts are generated.
  • For Control Monitor Alerts:
    1. Enter the Control ID.
    2. Select the Send Notification checkbox to send the e-mail notifications to the users who monitor the controls when alerts are generated.

RESULTS

The activity generates the alerts for the selected alert types and updates the alert header and detail tables.

Note: If you have configured the application to include firefighter (FF) assignments in the risk analysis, the alerts will also include these results. You can configure this in the Customizing activity Maintain Configure Settings, parameter 1038 - Consider FF Assignments in Risk Analysis.
