Use

In this Customizing activity, you can synchronize the authorization master data from the back-end ERP systems, and store it in the GRC AC repository.

The synchronization updates the data for the following:

• Resource Sync - permissions, resources, and descriptions for authorization objects
• Action Sync - descriptions for actions, and permissions and resources for authorization objects
• Resource Class Sync - permissions and resources for authorization object classes and their relationships
• Resource Extension - organization level, activities, and descriptions for resource extensions
• Default (SU24) Values Sync - default authorization objects and field values for actions

Requirements

You have completed the following Customizing activities:

• You have installed the GRCPIERP plug-in component on the ERP back end system
• You have completed the following Customizing activities:
• Create Connectors
• Maintain Connectors and Connection Types
• Maintain Connection Settings
• Maintain Mapping for Actions and Connector Groups

Standard settings

Activities

1. In the Connector field, select the back-end system.
2. Choose the language.
3. For legacy systems, select the Legacy System checkbox, and then select the connector. Legacy systems are those systems that the application cannot connect to directly, and you must use files to transfer the data.
4. Choose Execute.
