Use   

In this Customizing activity, you can:

  • Specify additional languages for the user interface, for example, Japanese (JA)
  • Change the sequence of the languages, as required

Note: A sequence indicator is assigned to each language. It helps to determine the language in which information is displayed in the case when the logon language is not available.

The language support setup maintained using this activity is a prerequisite to allow the maintenance of HR transactions (GRFN_STR_CHANGE) in additional languages. By default, SAP enables the following languages:

Requirements

You have confirmed the language you select is already translated for the Access Control, Process Control, and Risk Management applications.

Standard settings

Activities

To maintain supported languages:

  1. Choose New Entries .
  2. In the Sequence column, enter a sequencing number.
  3. In the Lang. column, select a language from the dropdown list.
  4. Save your entry.
    The name of the language is added automatically.
