Use

In this Customizing activity, you can export Data Sources and Business Rules from the system. You can choose to export Data Sources only, or export Business Rules with Data Sources. The result is stored in a zip file. You can import the zip file later into the target system using the Customizing activity Importing Data Sources and Business Rules.

Activities

Export Business Rules with relevant Data Sources

  1. Select Export Business Rules with relevant Data Sources from the list. Choose Continue.
  2. Fill in the search fields. Choose Search.
  3. Select the Business Rules you want to export from the search result. Choose Next.
  4. Decide if you need to include Search Terms and Connectors in the export data. Choose Next.
  5. Review and confirm your export settings, choose Export Business Rules to download the result.
  6. Save the zip file in a local folder so you can import it later to the target system. You can view the export logs by choosing Show Logs after you download the result.

Export Data Sources Only

  1. Select Export Data Sources only from the list. Choose Continue.
  2. Fill in the search fields. Choose Search.
  3. Select the Data Sources you want to export from the search result. Choose Next.
  4. Decide if you need to include Search Terms and Connectors in the export data. Choose Next.
  5. Review and confirm your export settings. Choose Export Business Rules to download the result.
  6. Save the zip file in a local folder so you can import it later to the target system. You can view the export logs by choosing Show Logs after you download the result.
