Use
In this IMG activity you can determine the residence time of the business partner to be archived for each business partner role. The object archiving business partners (CA_BUPA) is archived.
Residence time is taken into account only if the archiving indicator is set automatically using the transaction Set Deletion/Archiving Indicator (BUPA_PRE_DA). It is not taken into consideration when you set the archiving indicator in the business partner dialog manually.
Activities
Business partner role
Business partner data is archived for each business partner role.
Residence time
The residence time is the period of time that must have elapsed before application data can be archived. It is calculated in months for the business partner.
When determining the residence time, note the following:
The residence time must be longer than or equal to the minimum residence time as determined in the check table for global archiving control.
Active
To archive business partners after the residence time has expired, you have to activate archiving by setting the indicator.
Further notes
In addition to a check to see whether the residence time has expired, a business management check is also carried out.
