Use
This Business Add-In (BAdI) is used in the Master Data Governance (CA-MDG) component.
You can use this BAdI to modify the data displayed in the form when creating and processing form-based change requests. You can customize the user interface as follows:
- Initialize the displayed data (when creating a new entity, for example)
- Dynamically control the visibility of fields on the user interface and of the property that determines if fields are required or display-only
- Control the displayed data and the field properties in self-defined form events
- Check the form data
- Influence the key fields of an entity
Requirements
You have created a data model.
Standard settings
In the standard system, there is no activated BAdI implementation.
The BAdI is filter-dependent. Create a separate implementation for each data model. In the BAdI filter you also can specify multiple data models for a BAdI implementation.
The BAdI is not designed for multiple use.
