Use

In this activity, you create the distribution services that you need for distributing master data packages to the transactional systems.

Requirements

The following prerequisites must be met:

  • You have defined a data model.
  • You have defined the mapping for the enterprise services.
  • You have defined the variants for distributing the data via downloads.

Standard settings

SAP delivers the following distribution services:

  • Distribution service for distribution via the services for GeneralLedgerAccountMaster
  • Distribution service for distribution via the services for FinancialReportingStructure
  • Distribution service for distribution via the services for ChartOfAccounts
  • Distribution service for distribution via file downloads

Activities

To create a distribution service, proceed as follows:

  1. Define a distribution service and assign a service class to it.
  2. If the service class is intended for distributions using enterprise services, go to Mapping Parameters and enter the mapping of the internal data structure for the data structure of the service.
  3. If the service class is intended for distributions using download files, go to Download Parameters and enter the variant for the downloads.
