Use
In this activity, you define the Web user interface for Single Processing of an Entity (USMD_ENTITY_VALUE). For each data model, you can create different Web user interfaces and save them as UI models.
You can easily and intuitively define the Web user interfaces by using the Web Dynpro application USMD_UI_MODELING_TOOL. For more information, see the help documentation of the Web Dynpro application or in SAP Library under SAP ERP Central Component -> Accounting -> Financial Master Data Management -> Configuration -> Process UI Model. Alternatively, you can use the view cluster VC_USMD100. The description written below primarily applies to the view cluster, but can also be applied to the Web Dynpro application.
Note
In the Web Dynpro application, you do not need to create higher- or lower-level UI elements. The system creates these elements automatically.
Requirements
You have activated a data model.
Standard settings
The UI model 0F is available for the data model 0F delivered by SAP. You can use this UI model.
Activities
To create a new UI model, proceed as follows:
- Specify a name for your UI model. Assign a data model to the UI model.
- Create the UI elements you need for processing the entity types:
- To create the first UI element, choose the UI element type View. No further entries are necessary.
- Create one or more lower-level UI elements by flagging the first UI element as a Higher UI Element. The lower-level UI element must not have the type View.
- Create more lower-level UI elements under a view or another container UI element. For more information about structuring, see the documentation for the Web Dynpro application.
