Use
In this IMG activity, you define the required risk classes for SAP Credit Management. You can define any number of risk classes.
The system can then determine the risk class of a business partner from the partner's score automatically or you can define it manually. You can also change the risk class determined automatically in the business partner master data record. In this case, the manual change overwrites the risk class determined automatically.
Requirements
The automatic calculation of the risk class is controlled via the assignment of follow-on processes to event types. To ensure the automatic calculation, in the IMG activity Define Events and Follow-On Processes, define the follow-on process EVL_RISK_C (Determine Risk Class).
Standard settings
Six risk classes are defined in the standard settings. You can modify the examples in accordance with your requirements.
Activities
To use the automatic assignment, assign the score intervals to the corresponding risk classes.
Example
The risk class is transferred in the credit check and can be used to control the credit check and the reaction to the result of the check. This is the case in Sales and Distribution (SD) for example. Therefore, you have to define risk classes with identical keys in SD and in SAP Credit Management.
