Use

In this IMG activity you create the new rule for calculating the score and credit limit or you change an existing rule.

Requirements

  • You have created the relevant credit segments (Create Credit Segments).
  • You have defined the formulas required for calculating the score and the credit limit (Define Formulas ).
  • If you want to use ratings from external credit information, make sure that:
    • You have defined the relevant external rating procedures (Define Rating Procedures).
    • The identification types are defined in the SAP Business Partner meaning that you can define them here (Define Identification Types).
      • The identification type refers to the business partner attribute that an external information provider uses to uniquely identify the business partner.

Standard settings

The standard settings contain four example rules with four example formulas - one each for new and existing customers for both business and private customers. You can modify the example rules to meet with your requirements.

Activities

  1. Create the rule required for calculating the score and credit limit.
  2. To ensure the calculation of the score, under Score, define the corresponding formula for the rule and all other data required.
  3. To ensure the calculation of the credit limit, under Credit Limit define the corresponding formula for the rule and the credit segment and all other data required.
  4. To consider external credit information, under Select Rating Procedure, define the external rating procedures that you want to consider for the respective score and credit limit calculations.
